Social Sustainability
Adrian Stoyanov, 14
"I think that the richness of the whole of humankind is the children because they are the future. I am one of those kids and for my fourteen years, I am already familiar with the problems of social inequality."
Vasilena Veselinova, 16
"An inclusive education system that allows diverse learning needs and provides equal opportunities for self or career growth is a key component of social sustainability."
Tina Tuncheva, 15
"Actions made from the bottom of our hearts, like charity work or simply helping out somebody, create a bubble of positive emotions. With each act of kindness, the bubble expands and eventually becomes so big it pops and warm-heartedness is spread all over the world."
Boriana Sachkova, 15
"Sustainable development cannot be achieved if large segments of the population are left in poverty or if disparities in wealth and resources persist. Social sustainability calls for strategies that uplift the most vulnerable, providing them with the means to escape the cycle of poverty."
Plamena Gospodinova, 15
"By meeting these essential needs, communities can improve their members' well-being and provide a sense of security. Access to quality healthcare and education, in particular, enhances not only individual outcomes but also adds to community growth and stability."
Mila Yalamova, 15
"Inclusivity drives social sustainability. As a teenager, I’ve seen its impact. Celebrating diversity and reaching out creates a stronger, fairer society. Let’s continue to spread kindness for a better tomorrow."
Environmental Sustainability
Nikola Pavlov, 14
"Shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power is crucial for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change. This could help with cleaner air no holes in the ozone layer and better yet it will help with the economy because of low fuel costs."
Ivaylo Velchev, 14
"If you knew that you could change the world right now, what would you change? Maybe you would make more bio-powered electricity or more environmental changes? Who knows? Maybe you could be the next Greta Tunberg? The thing I know is that we can change the world to a better place."
Elena Stoynova, 15
"Familiar faces line the streets, creating an atmosphere in which environmental sustainability is not an abstract concept, but a lived experience. On every corner, recycling bins stand as unassuming guards, silently reinforcing the collective commitment to responsible waste management."
Nikol Makedonska, 14
"Environmental sustainability is not a choice but a responsibility. It's about ensuring that future generations inherit a world where nature thrives and resources are plentiful."
Victoria Zoneva, 15
"By imagining the planet as a friend or, in the context of climate change, a disabled friend, individuals may develop a sense of empathy towards the environment."
Economic Sustainability
Valerie Yankova, 15
"Having an educated and skilled group of people is very important for economic sustainability. Education and developing skills make sure people have the right abilities for jobs in the future. This helps the economy in the long term by making it more productive and innovative."
Magdalena Ivanova, 16
"When we deal with inequality and make sure that everyone in society gets the benefits of economic growth, it makes people feel included and lowers tensions among different groups. This creates a strong base for ongoing development."
Bozhidara Andonova, 14
"Policies that encourage sustainability, support green tech, and ensure a fair economic game are super important. Because, let's face it, many of these challenges are too big for one country to handle alone."
Kaloyan Nedyalkov, 14
"Fostering eco-friendly economic growth involves innovation, technological advancements, and the adoption of green practices."
