DAY ONE

On March 11, participants from both schools embarked on their cosmic adventure as part of the activity "Space School" within the joint program for student mobility. The day began with a warm welcome, as participants formed teams and started with ice-breaking games.

After getting to know each other, it was time for a serious dive into the cosmic adventure. The Space School project team presented the project scenario, including its main goals, tasks, and challenges that the students would face during the project.

The next activity on the agenda was Mission 1: End-of-the-World Film Plots. Students delved into the world of science fiction, interpreting plots of films related to the theme of the end of the world. The focus was on how we could avoid this presumed apocalypse through sustainable development. Immediately after the mission, the Hungarian students were briefed on the intricacies of their "survival" in the city of Varna, presented by Victoria and Mila.

After lunch, the students went on a city tour. The first destination was the Park Monument in Briz. Today, the building that once symbolised the Bulgarian-Soviet friendship has become a dark place, reflecting forgetfulness and abandonment, yet from its top, it offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the entire Varna Bay. The visit prompted reflection and aimed to guide the participants towards the upcoming missions.

In the Sea Garden, participants began Mission 2: Nature Filming. For two hours, they immersed themselves in the beauty of the garden and the seaside, completing tasks in teams. The materials gathered are part of a creative project, the ultimate goal of which is a documentary film.

The day ended with a festive dinner at the Ethno Restaurant "Chuchurite," where Valeri, Veselina, and Mila, participants in the Erasmus+ Club "Tigri," gave a presentation on Bulgarian traditions, cuisine, and customs. Guests had the opportunity to taste Bulgarian dishes prepared from authentic recipes and enjoy national dances that enlivened the evening. This moment was special, adding to the fire of friendship and cultural diversity.

The first day of the "Space School" project turned out to be the beginning of an incredible journey into the cosmic world of knowledge and imagination. The students were absorbed in enthusiasm and the desire to learn and create something new. They eagerly awaited the following days, with new discoveries, adventures, and knowledge.
